Sometimes the hardest part of writing is simply getting started. If you're not sure what to say, these sample letters are here to help. You're welcome to copy them, adapt them, or use them as inspiration. You can make your letter as long or as short as you'd like.
Remember, even a few sentences can brighten your child's day and remind them that they are loved!

Bible Verses You Can Share
Including Scripture in your letter is a wonderful way to encourage your child in their faith. Many of our students enjoy reading the Bible and memorizing verses, so sharing a verse can be very meaningful to them. If you’re not sure what to include, here are a few short, encouraging verses you might use:
- “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you.” — Numbers 6:24–25
- “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
- “The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” — Psalm 23:1
- “Be strong and courageous...for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
- “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” — Psalm 29:11
