Prayer makes all the difference.
You can get involved in Haven of Hope's mission by praying. We are grateful for the dedicated prayer warriors who lift up the needs of the people we serve and the work God is doing in their communities. Will you, your group, or your church pray with us? Here are a few prayer requests:
For our leadership and staff: Pray that God gives our U.S. team wisdom and strength, and pray that He blesses, protects, and provides for our partners in Zambia and Uganda as they serve daily on the ground. Please remember our school administrators and teachers in your prayers, asking God to help and guide them as they educate and disciple their students.
For our students: Pray that the children in our program will know and feel God's love for them, and that they will grow in their understanding of His Word and in relationship with Him. The students frequently request that we pray for their academic success. Pray that God will help them listen and learn well, work hard, and make good progress in their studies.
For the church: Pray that God will strengthen His church in Zambia and Uganda, emboldening Zambian and Ugandan believers to go and make disciples in their communities. Pray that church leaders will grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Word, being equipped to lead wisely and effectively.
For the community: Pray for the communities we serve in Ndola and Luanshya, Zambia, and in Bugoi, Uganda. Pray for the families of the children in our program and for others in their community who need the hope of Jesus Christ. Pray for salvation and the blessing of the Lord upon their lives, and pray that He will provide for their physical needs. We ask that God's will be done in these communities.
